We’re Always Looking for Volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Helping Mamas Knoxville, driving our mission to support families in need across the community. Just last year, our dedicated volunteers contributed over 3,000 hours of their time, enabling us to fulfill our vital role in East Tennessee.

As a volunteer with Helping Mamas, you’ll play a crucial part in our operations, from sorting donated items to packing essential supplies.

We offer 4 individual slots per shift, available Tuesday through Thursday each week. With shifts running in 2 hour blocks. If you are wanting to come as a group please email Brooke@helpingmamas.org

FAQ’s

Of Course! We welcome groups up to 30 people. Please reach out to Brooke our volunteer coordinator at Brooke@helpingmamas.org to book larger groups. Our larger group slots do fill up fast so please try to coordinate at least 2 months in advance.

Due to liability we only allow children 8 years and older to come with a supervised adult.

As a warehouse warrior you will help inventory donations, sort clothing and baby supplies and organize our warehouse. You can also assist with creating and decorating period kits, repackaging open/loose diapers, organizing books and toys. We need your help to keep our donations organized and going back out to children who need them!
