We value each of you so much and hope this is a helpful tool to keep you up to date on all things going on!

An Important Note for our Partners:

As you know, at Helping Mamas Knoxville, our mission is to bridge the gap for families in need by providing essential items when resources are limited. While we don’t have a set limit on how many times you can pick up items for your families, we do want to remind you that we support more than 80 partner agencies over 34 counties and have limited appointment slots. Therefore, we must ask that partners avoid placing multiple orders within the same week.

Additionally, because our supplies depend on donations and grant funding, we are not able to be the sole provider of basic needs items for partner agencies or families – so please use your discretion when placing orders. Our role is to complement your work, not replace other community resources.

We’re so grateful for the work each of you does to support families in our communities. As Helping Mamas Knoxville continues to grow, we hope that by working together and sharing resources across agencies, we can ensure that families receive the support they need to move toward independence.

Do you have an EMERGENCY situation?

You can send an email to knoxorders@helpingmamas.org and title the email with EMERGENCY ORDER. This is for things like house fires and domestic violence situations. This can be a small order of essentials to pick up, but must be picked up within 24 hours.

Shopping Update

Please remember that we only fill orders for expectant mothers within four weeks of their due date. This helps ensure that families who may need items sooner are also able to receive the support they need in a timely manner. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Partner agencies are expected to place at least one order per quarter. If an agency does not place a quarterly order, Helping Mamas will send a notification regarding the lapse in activity. If no order is place within 15 days of the notification, the partnership will be dissolved– unless the agency has communicated in advance and received approval. This does not apply to bulk or mobile partners. Again, this is to make sure we are serving our community to the best of our ability.
