At Helping Mamas Knoxville, we’ve always known that when the community comes together, incredible things happen. This year’s Fill the Warehouse Annual Diaper Drive was a testament to that fact. We asked for your help, and Knoxville answered in a big way, making a profound impact on local families in need.
Here’s a look back at the amazing community effort that filled our warehouse, supported our families, and continues to inspire hope for the future.
The Community Effort: Teams and Individuals Who Went Above and Beyond
The heart of Fill the Warehouse was the Knoxville community—teams, individuals, families, and organizations who banded together to collect diapers and dollars. Whether through church drives, corporate team challenges, or personal fundraisers, each contribution made a difference.
Standout teams include Dial Services, LLC, which collected a total of 1,435 diapers along with raising additional funds through donations, and First Utility District, which contributed a remarkable 9,432 diapers. Fountain City United Methodist Church also made a significant impact, collecting 3,433 diapers with generous donations and contributions. Premier Athletics Phantom Sharks brought in 5,981 diapers, while Junior League of Knoxville collected 4,852 diapers, helping to push the total higher.
Other incredible contributions came from Pilot, which donated $5,000, Team Easton with 1,998 diapers, PYA with 2,170, and Kiwanis Club of Knoxville adding 2,775 diapers to the total. First Baptist Concord also made a significant donation with 1,191 diapers. Other teams, such as Trōv Creative Co, Isabel Foster, Gather, and Team UTK, all played a role in reaching our goal, each contributing in their unique way.
The Numbers: A Huge Success
This year’s Fill the Warehouse campaign brought in an astounding amount of donations:
- Total diapers collected: 39,692
- Teams participated: 20 incredible groups from all over Knoxville
- Total dollars raised: $10,279
Thanks to this tremendous community effort, we were well stocked in time for the hurricane? are well-stocked and ready to support local families through the coming months.
Where the Collected Items Will Go: Families and Partner Organizations
The diapers and baby supplies collected will directly benefit partner organizations that serve Knoxville families. From shelters to community centers, these organizations work tirelessly to ensure that the most vulnerable families receive the support they need.
Every diaper helps relieve the financial stress for parents and caregivers, ensuring babies stay clean, dry, and healthy.
Our community distribution events ensure that families who rely on these supplies don’t have to go without.
Next Steps: How You Can Stay Involved
While Fill the Warehouse may be over for this year, the need for diapers and baby supplies continues. We’re already looking ahead to next year’s event, but there are plenty of ways you can stay involved in the meantime:
- Donate: You can continue to support Helping Mamas Knoxville by donating diapers, wipes, or monetary contributions throughout the year.
- Volunteer: Our warehouse is always buzzing with activity, and we’d love to have you come help us sort donations, pack orders, and prepare for distribution events.
- Spread the Word: The more people know about diaper need in our community, the bigger the impact we can have. Share our mission with your friends and family to keep the momentum going!
This year’s Fill the Warehouse drive was a massive success, but it’s only the beginning. Together, we’ve made Knoxville a stronger, more supportive community—and we can’t wait to see how we can continue to make a difference together.
Let’s keep the giving spirit alive and help more families in need!
